Mormon president Russell M. Nelson dies at 101

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints just lost its leader. The church announced the passing of President Russell M. Nelson hours before a deadly attack on one of its congregations in Michigan.

We look back on Nelson’s life and leadership with Patrick Q. Mason, chair of Mormon history at Utah State University.
