U.S. proposes truce between Israel and Hamas as Israel steps up attacks on Gaza City

The U.S. presented a new proposal for a truce between Israel and Hamas. Meanwhile, Israel stepped up attacks on Gaza City and carried out an airstrike on Hamas’ political headquarters in Qatar.
