During a short pre-recorded coronavirus update Friday afternoon Governor Andy Beshear announced 777 new cases of coronavirus in Kentucky, bringing the state total to 60,128.
Governor Beshear also announced eight new deaths, bringing that total to 1,101.
The positivity rate is at 3.6% as of Friday afternoon.
