Jay Leno to Perform in Richmond at Tribute for Fallen Officer

wikipedia.org

Jay Leno is appearing in Richmond next spring in an event being billed as a tribute to Officer Daniel Ellis, the Richmond police officer killed in the line of duty this month.

The Lexington Herald-Leader reports Leno will perform at 8 p.m. April 23 at Richmond's St. Mark Catholic Church.

A news release about the event said any current Richmond police officer, Madison County sheriff's deputy, Eastern Kentucky University police officer or Kentucky State Police officer can buy one ticket for $4.57. Ellis' badge number was 457. One hundred tickets are available at that price. General admission is $200.

The event is the finale of the Evening Among Friends performances presented by the church and Father Jim Sichko. The event is a fundraiser for the church.
