Western Kentucky experiences historic deadly tornadoes

Portions of western Kentucky have been struck with tornadoes overnight with reports of many deaths. Governor Beshear held an early morning news conference. At least 50 people have reportedly died. The governor said the death toll could reach as high as 100. He said it appears four separate tornadoes tore through western Kentucky with one tracked for more than 200 miles. Beshear said a collapsed roof at a Mayfield candle factory has resulted in mass casualties. National Guard members have been called in for searching and clearing debris. Shelters have been established.
