Fayette Jail Officials Looking For 60+ New Workers

lexingtonky.gov

To meet an ongoing staffing need, officials at Lexington’s jail are hosting an open house Saturday.

The Lexington Division of Community Corrections is looking to hire 60-plus new officers into full-time positions.  The hiring event at the Old Frankfort Pike Detention Center will run from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00.

Prospective officers will be able to take a virtual tour of the detention facility, fill out an application, and complete pre-employment testing.  They will also be given an opportunity to speak with current officers about careers in law enforcement and explore potential career paths.
