Lexington Mass Transit Fee Collection To Return In 2021

lextran.com

Lexington’s mass transit system is making some modifications in service.  It involves both operational and fee issues.

Starting this Sunday, Lextran fixed route service will resume front door boarding.  Protective barriers have been installed in the driver’s area in the front of each bus.

In mid-December pass sales will resume online and at the downtown transit center.  Masks will continue to be a requirement on Lextran buses and at the mass transit system’s facilities.  Passengers and employees are encouraged to practice social distancing whenever possible.

Beginning January fourth, fare collection will resume on Lextran’s fixed route service and on Wheels.  That’s the paratransit service operated by the American Red Cross.?
