The war on drugs has gotten much tougher for law-enforcement agencies in Jessamine County to fight as “synthetic” drug-like products, which are not marketed for human consumption and are sold over the counter at many convenience stores and other retail outlets, are proving to be just as harmful as the real thing. Nicholasville Police Chief Barry Waldrop and officer Billy King brought their concerns over a local store before the Nicholasville City Commission during its monthly workshop Monday evening.
