Today's Interview - Larry Pemble

Lawrence Pemble/Facebook

As the Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning adds authors and poets to the Kentucky Writers Hall of Fame, another literary organization is getting ready not only to honor writers but also to encourage more Kentuckians to hone their skills at the keyboard.

That's the focus of Arts Connect's Kate Savage in this latest in her series of interviews with artists and arts organizations.

Today, Kate speaks to Larry Pemble, Founder and Managing Executive Director of the James Baker Hall Foundation in Lexington.

In addition to Arts contributor at WEKU, Kate Savage is Executive Director of Arts Connect Lex. More on that organization is at artsconnectlex.org.
