For those Kentuckians living in 1974, the stormy events of Tuesday, to a much lesser degree, may have been a reminder of an afternoon 50 years ago. It was then that a deadly tornado super outbreak ran through several states including Kentucky.

On Today’s Interview, Stu Johnson speaks with Kentucky Climate Center Outreach Manager Shane Holinde about springtime ingredients for severe weather and a historical rundown of tornadic activity.
