A new family program is coming soon to WEKU Classical. Think "Mister Rogers meets The Grand Ole Opry." The family show WoodSongs Kids is a combination of performance and conversation featuring amazing young artists from across America. Folksinger Michael Johnathon and his daughter Makayla Rayne are the hosts of the program. WEKU's Wendy Barnett found out more about what to expect from the 13-week long series.

WoodSongs Kids airs Saturdays at noon on WEKU Classical beginning July 29, 2023. Listen to WEKU Classical at weku.org or on the WEKU Mobile App.

Wendy oversees all station operations and serves as All Things Considered host. She began her career at WEKU in 2001.
