Berea College makes history by hiring first female president

Beginning next July, Berea College will make history when the southern Madison County liberal arts school welcomes its first female president. The Berea College Board of Trustees Saturday named Dr. Cheryl L Nixon as Berea’s tenth president. Stu Johnson had a chance to speak with her soon after the formal announcement.
