After a two year break due to the pandemic, Hillbilly Days returned to Pikeville this week. The festival boasts live music, food trucks, local arts and crafts, a parade and a carnival. In Today’s interview, WEKU’s Samantha Morrill talks to Jordan Gibson, President and CEO of Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce about the event and its impact on eastern Kentucky.

Samantha was a reporter and All Things Considered Host from 2019 to 2023. Sam is also a graduate of Morehead State University and worked for MSU's Public Radio Station.
