Courtesy Scotty Dunlap

On Today’s Interview…Wendy Barnett talks to Dr. Scotty Dunlap, EKU Professor in the College of Justice and Safety. He directed a documentary about a volunteer fire department in Frametown, West Virginia.

The volunteer firefighter field has typically been male-dominated, but in Frametown, the volunteer fire department is almost 60% women. … Dunlap spent a year chronicling the lives of these women and tells us how he’s going to use what he learned to recruit a new generation of volunteer firefighters.
