Today's Interview: Former EKU President Quarantined On Cruise Ship

EKU

A former Eastern Kentucky University president and his wife are stuck on a cruise ship headed for Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Their getaway aboard the Coral Princess was supposed to end more than a week ago.

Dr. Doug Whitlock was EKU President for 6 years, between 2007 and 2013.

Samantha Morrill talked to Dr. Whitlock on a ship phone in his room, where he and his wife are sequestered. There was low sound quality and a bit of a delay on the line, but Dr. Whitlock said he and his wife hope to get home soon.
