University Of Kentucky Announces Random Student Testing For COVID

uknow.uky.edu

The University of Kentucky announced Friday afternoon plans for random COVID-19 testing of students.  This follows a testing requirement for students at the beginning of the semester.

UK Health Corps will notify students they have been selected for the required random coronavirus testing.  The testing will only occur for students who are physically coming to campus.  The free tests will be conducted at the existing site at the 90 area and a new testing lane at the community site at College Way.

The random testing will take place throughout the remainder of the semester.  UK Spokesperson Sara Geegan said the aim is to initially test 400 students over a Sunday through Wednesday period.  She says students refusing to take the test would be violating the student code of conduct.?
