Call Goes Out For Park Clean Up Volunteers in Lexington

The call’s going out for Lexington area residents to pitch in and pick up litter this month in neighborhood parks.  Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton says parks have been busy locations during coronavirus.

Citizens can participate in ‘Lex Clean Parks’ from September 17th through September 30th.  Free trash pick-up kits will be distributed from 2:30 to 5:00 this Thursday at Parks offices at 469 Parkway Drive.

Parks officials recommend that all participants use gloves while helping out
