Baptist Health Richmond Increasing Medical Services

Baptisthealth.com

Medical facilities across Kentucky have been restarting certain procedures previously put on hold with the onset of coronavirus.  That includes medical services at a Richmond hospital.

This week, outpatient diagnostic radiology and laboratory services resumed at Baptist Health.  That includes mammography, general imaging, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and ultra sound.

Physician practices and clinics will again conduct in-person visits with added precautions like physical distancing in waiting rooms, limited visitors, and masks.  Beginning next Wednesday, select outpatient surgeries will restart along with invasive procedures such as endoscopy.

Baptist Health Richmond will phase in all outpatient and inpatient surgeries including elective procedures with a goal to return to normal patient volumes by late May or early June.
