Gas Prices Expected To Climb With More Vaccinations

gasprices.aaa.com

Triple A is predicting gasoline prices to continue rising as demand increases.

This past Saturday was the first time in 340 days when the national per gallon average price was more expensive than a year ago.  This week nearly two-thirds of all states see prices at the pump higher than last February.

On average prices at Kentucky pumps are about a dime higher.  Triple A says gasoline prices at service stations are anticipated to climb more.

The American Automobile Association says it’s due in part to expensive crude oil and the market’s growing optimism that demand will increase amid the vaccination roll-out.
