You won't need a coat to keep you warm the next few days, with highs in the 50s and 60s. But thunderstorms are on the way. After a frosty morning, today's high temperature will warm to a mild, spring-like 55 degrees under a mostly sunny sky. Tonight, thunderstorms with high winds and soaking rains will set in with a low only around 47 degrees.The rain will continue through most of Wednesday, totaling up to 1.5 inches. Winds could gust as fast as 31 mph.
The temperature will peak at 68 degrees, just a few degrees lower than the record high of 73 for Feb. 29, said meteorologist Brian Coniglio.
It will remain mild through week’s end with daytime highs in the mid-50s and low-60s and overnight lows in the 40s and 30s.
It will be dry Thursday, but Friday could bring rain showers in the afternoon and thunderstorms Friday night.
By the weekend, colder temperatures will return with highs only in the upper 40s. Overnight lows will remain in the 30s.
It will be mostly dry and sunny Saturday and Sunday.
