EKU Opens Up Warming Center For Students And Staff

campusrec.eku.edu

Eastern Kentucky University is opening up a warming center on campus.  The warming center was opened in response to very cold temperatures expected over the next couple of nights.

Current EKU employees or students experiencing power outages from snowstorms can find a warm spot in the recreation center or dining hall.   The student recreation center is now open to Eastern workers, students, and their immediate family members living in the same household and experiencing a power loss.  The opportunity will be available during operating hours through this Sunday.  Families can have one hot meal per person in the dining hall.
