Kentucky counts more that 14,000 new coronavirus cases in weekly report

This week Kentucky reported 14,409 new coronavirus cases bringing the state total to 1,506,741.

2,809 of the new cases were in people age 18 and younger.

76 new deaths were reported, bringing that total to 16,540.

615 Kentuckians were hospitalized with COVID as of Monday afternoon. 74 of those were in the ICU and 27 were on a ventilator.

The positivity rate is at 18.51%.
