This week Kentucky reported 9,761 new coronavirus cases bringing the state total to 1,364,548
1,159 of the new cases were in people age 18 and younger.
59 new deaths were reported, bringing that total to 16,004
299 Kentuckians were hospitalized with COVID as of Monday afternoon. 34 of those were in the ICU and 17 were on a ventilator.
The positivity rate is at 12.42%.
