4,867 new coronavirus cases reported in Kentucky Thursday, Feb. 17

Thursday afternoon Kentucky reported 4,867 new coronavirus cases and 37 new deaths.

1,278 of the new cases were in people age 18 and under.

1,634 Kentuckians were hospitalized with COVID as of Thursday afternoon. 302 of those were in the ICU and 148 were on a ventilator.

The positivity rate is at 15.19%.
