30 new coronavirus deaths reported in Kentucky Thursday, Feb. 3

Kentucky Department for Public Health

8,994 new coronavirus cases and 30 new deaths were reported in Kentucky on Thursday.

2,461 of the new cases were in Kentuckians under age 18.

2,443 Kentuckians were hospitalized with coronavirus as of Thursday afternoon. 455 of those were in the ICU and 223 were on ventilators.

The positivity rate is at 25.67%.
