2,145 new coronavirus cases reported in Kentucky Friday, Oct. 8

Friday afternoon Kentucky reported 2,145 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the state total to 710,364.

31 new deaths were reported, bringing that total to 9,053.

The positivity rate is at 8.49% as of Friday afternoon.
