Fayette Jail Modifies Inmate Visitation Policy

lexingtonky.gov

Officials with Fayette County’s Detention Center are announcing new policies meant to help reduce any spread of the coronavirus Delta variant within the facility.  All in-person inmate visitation is being suspended.  Video visitation will continue to be offered.

Volunteers will not be permitted access at this time.  Attorney visitation is permitted, but lawyers are encouraged to use the attorney booth.

Should a representative of an outside agency require in-person visitation with an inmate, they will be required to wear a face mask.
