In a prerecorded coronavirus update Friday afternoon Governor Andy Beshear announced 1,440 new cases of coronavirus in Kentucky, bringing the state total to 386,326.
Governor Beshear also announced 42 new deaths, bringing that total to 4,253.
The positivity rate is at 6.95% as of Friday afternoon.
