In a prerecorded coronavirus update Thursday afternoon Governor Andy Beshear announced 4,911 new cases of coronavirus in Kentucky, bringing the state total to 291,430.
Governor Beshear also announced 37 new deaths, bringing that total to 2,843.
The positivity rate is at 11.93% as of Thursday afternoon.
