Governor Andy Beshear today announced 3,057 new cases of coronavirus in Kentucky.

Beshear also announced 28 new deaths.

The positivity rate is at 8.48%.

As Chrismas is just a couple of days away, the Governor asked Kentuckians to keep holiday gatherings as small as possible. "“With the rest of the country on fire, with hospitalizations escalating in almost every other state, in Kentucky we are seeing a stabilization that is protecting the lives of our people, and we want to make sure that we continue to plateau or even see a decrease in cases as we move forward with this vaccine, said Governor Beshear.
