State COVID-19 web site

Governor Beshear is reminding Kentuckians to follow holiday guidance recommendations this weekend.  He also said a deadline to apply for a bar and restaurant assistance program is looming.

The priority recommendations offered by the governor for the upcoming two week period might be summarized as refrain from gathering in-person and traveling.  Governor Beshear announced 3179 new coronavirus cases Friday and 28 additional deaths.  The positivity rate was just 8.6%.

The top counties with the highest number of COVID-19 cases are Jefferson, Fayette, Warren, Pulaski, and Kenton.

The governor also reminded restaurant and bar owners to apply for assistance through the Food and Beverage Relief Fund by midnight Friday, if they have not already done so.?
