During Tuesday afternoon’s coronavirus update Governor Andy Beshear announced 1,054 new cases of coronavirus in Kentucky, bringing the state total to 74,194. The governor noted that 144 of the new cases are in kids under age 18.
Governor Beshear also announced four new deaths, bringing that total to 1,218.
The positivity rate in Kentucky is at 4.29% as of Tuesday afternoon.
