The Short Films Creating a Lasting Environmental Legacy
At the Republic Bank Wild & Scenic Film Festival, you can celebrate nature and support those who work to protect it, all from the comfort of your seat in the theater—or at home

The Republic Bank Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour is bringing a new roster of 12 short cinematic masterpieces to Lexington this summer with a stop scheduled for Friday, Aug. 30, at the Farish Theater in the Lexington Public Library’s downtown Central Branch. The one-night gathering explores nature, wildlife, outdoor adventure, and human experience through a diverse selection of films—and also helps raise funds for the nonprofit Kentucky Conservation Committee’s education and advocacy initiatives.

The Republic Bank Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour event allows in-person and on-demand attendees to support their own local advocates for Kentucky’s environment. The event is backed by local businesses, including Wild Birds Unlimited (Lexington), Oakford Multimedia, Canoe Kentucky, Michler’s Florist, and Norton Green & Healthy Buildings.
