KCC Legislative Summit on the Environment: Trainings and Sessions on Environmental Issues Before State General Assembly and Beyond
The Kentucky Conservation Committee 2025 Legislative Summit on the Environment takes place on January 26, 2025, at Kentucky State University in Frankfort, Kentucky, from 1-5 p.m. The event is open to the public. It highlights pressing issues affecting the state and brings together policymakers, advocates, and community leaders to discuss critical legislative priorities related to the environment and conservation.
This year's event also features a presentation by acclaimed author and journalist Dr. Alice Driver, whose award-winning new book "Life and Death of the American Worker: The Immigrants Taking on America's Largest Meatpacking Company” illuminates how legislation can affect workers and communities.
