CREATIVE WRITING CONTEST

Use this prompt to unleash your creativity and share your stories inspired by the rich heritage and mystical allure of the mountains and rivers we call home.
Winning stories will be brought to life by our talented actors as they perform for a live audience around a crackling campfire under the open sky. First place authors will receive $100, a meet-and-greet with the actors after the show, a commemorative plaque, and their story published in the Maysville Ledger Independent and on social media.
All writers age 13 and older are eligible to submit a story.
