Insight Sold to Time Warner

Some Kentucky residents could soon be seeing information from Time Warner Cable showing up in their mailboxes. On Wednesday, the Federal Communications Commission approved the sale of Insight Communications, the cable provider for Shelby County and the largest provider in the state, to Time Warner Cable. "The proposed merger has a tremendous amount of momentum right now," Insight spokesman Jason Keller said. "It's been approved by more than two hundred regulatory commissions, including the FCC now, and it's closer to finishing."
