Rich Copley, via Twitter

This week has already been a big one for live music in Kentucky. Sir Paul McCartney played Louisville the same night Boz Scaggs and Leo Kotke  performed in Lexington.

Rich Copley from the Lexington Herald Leader tells WEKU's Jonese Franklin, it’s the return of country star Garth Brooks that marks the area’s music event of the year.

Information on the weekend’s events is available in the Friday edition of the Lexington Herald Leader.

Arts and cultural activities are also listed on the events calendar
