The Federal Emergency Management Agency has opened its third disaster recovery center in eastern Kentucky to help flood victims.

FEMA is operating the center at Hazard Community College in Perry County. The center is meant to help flood survivors with applying for FEMA assistance.

Two other centers are open in Pike County, at the Pike Public Library and Belfry Public Library.

FEMA says it expects to open more recovery centers in the coming days. The deadline to apply for assistance is April 25.

Online assistance is also available online, by calling 800-621-3362, or by using the FEMA mobile app. If using a relay service like video relay (VRS) or captioned telephone, give FEMA the number for that service.
