Would-Be Authors Marry At Maine Public Library

STEVE INSKEEP, Host:

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep with congratulations to a couple in Maine. Alicia Prouix married Jared Fiori. They both love books. And according to the Sun Journal of Lewiston, Maine, she wants to be a novelist. He wants to become a comic book artist. So they decided to get married in the Auburn Public Library, a century-old building that from the outside does look a little like a church. Apparently, they are the first people ever married in the stacks of that library. You're listening to MORNING EDITION. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
