Born from house music, footwork is a terrifically fast type of dancing and music, set to roughly 160 beats per minute, which is like your heart rate after a long stretch of dancing ... but way faster. You can learn all about it tonight on All Things Considered, or you can read the web feature that we posted at the end of last year. For now, check out this footwork remix of the All Things Considered theme, delivered by Chicago's own DJ Earl. (It has the show director's office rocking as I type this post.)
