Western Kentucky University Cancels All In Person Classes For Semester

Western Kentucky University

Western Kentucky University is cancelling all in-person classes for the rest of the spring semester, with all instruction to be done online or through other means.

WKU President Timothy Caboni made the announcement in an email sent Tuesday afternoon to all school students, faculty, and staff.

Caboni said all students are being strongly encouraged to go home, with very limited university housing remaining open for the rest of the semester.

All in-person events for the remainder of the semester are being cancelled, postponed, or done solely through virtual delivery.

The University of Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky University today also announced that all remaining spring semester classes would be done online or through alternative deliveries.
