Feedback: Reaction to "Q" Critic and Announcer Voice

Listener David reacted to a comment we aired last week, critical of the show “Q” from the CBC which we air weekday afternoons at 2:00, “I just, a minute ago, heard a comment that you aired from a listener about the program “Q” which I find wonderful and lively and unpredictable.”

David continues, “I think that we benefit from hearing programs that are not simply from the U.S. but in this case Canadian. I’m a real supporter of that program and astonished by his negative reaction to it.”

On that same topic, an email from Woodson in Frankfort, who writes, “I couldn't disagree more with the recent comments from "Josh," who seems to feel threatened by "Q" in some way. I don't hear "Q" every day, but when I do, it's always interesting and informative.

And finally, a note from Tom in Lexington, “Can you please supply me with the name and email address of the lady with the beautiful voice that does so many of your spots about events, etc.  I think I know her and wanted to congratulate her on her beautiful work for your station.”

We believe he’s referring to Jen Bartlett. She’s the announcer who records our underwriting credits, acknowledging the sponsorship of area businesses and organizations.
