For the eleventh year, central Kentuckians can open up their pocketbooks and assist a large number of nonprofit organizations this holiday season.
Donors have an opportunity over the next week to contribute to 179 organizations, with daily match challenges totaling more than $650,000. The GoodGiving Challenge began Tuesday morning and runs through Monday, December sixth.
BGgives.org outlines the work of the participating nonprofits and facilitates donations online. The minimum donation amount is ten dollars. In 2020, one-third of donors gave to a new nonprofit for the first time.
