Dr. Robert Bullard spoke at the University of Kentucky on April 5 about environmental justice, climate change and solutions to the climate crisis.

In the late 70s Dr. Robert Bullard found that the majority of dumps, incinerators and landfills in Houston were located in Black communities. At a time when Black residents made up a quarter of the city’s population. Bullards research was used in the first case that made an argument against environmental discrimination. In Today’s Interview, Corinne Boyer speaks with Robert Bullard, a professor and the director of the Bullard Center for Environmental and Climate Justice at Texas Southern University in Houston, about climate change, disasters and action communities can take.
