Andrew 'Andy' Tribble was born in Union City, Madison County in 1879. He and his brother, Amos, went on to become famous Vaudeville performers. Andy and Amos are said to be the inspiration for the Amos 'n Andy Show in the 1940s.
A marker dedicated to Andrew Tribble will be unveiled Sunday, October 6th at 2:30 p.m. in Union City Park.
