Former Marine fighter pilot Amy McGrath is making a second run for congress. In her first entry into politics, the 45 year old McGrath failed to unseat Sixth District Congressman Andy Barr.  Now, she’s taking on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who’s served in Washington for 36 years. Libertarian Brad Carron is also a candidate in the senate race.  Weku’s Stu Johnson began his conversation with McGrath with a question about curbing the cost of health care.

Please note: Each candidate was asked a series of similar questions and was offered a seven minute on air interview and a 15 minute extended online interview. Listen to extended interviews with McConnell, McGrath, plus congressional candidates Andy Barr and Josh Hicks here.
