The Midway University Board of Trustees has voted to hold tuition rates steady for the 2022-2023 academic year.
The marks the fourth straight year the tuition rates at Midway haven’t changed. President John Marsden said making this decision now lets families know tuition rates for planning purposes.
In a news release, Marsden says expenses have been kept down while operating a fiscally sound institution. The president said, quote, "We have done this by balancing operating budgets, increasing enrollment and net revenue, and initiating all our new construction and renovation projects without incurring new debt or passing along the cost to students through tuition increases." Midway’s overall enrollment this past fall reached 1827. It marked the sixth straight year of enrollment growth.
