On Monday evening, officials at Eastern Kentucky University were made aware of a threatening graffiti message found on the bathroom wall in a campus dorm.

Officials say the message threatened EKU students with gun violence on Wednesday, February 11, 2015.

WEKU’s Jonese Franklin sat down Friday with Bryan Makinen, acting Executive Director of Public Safety at EKU, for an update on the investigation.

School officials are asking the EKU community to sign up for the RAVE emergency notification system at GETRAVE dot COM or on EKU Direct.

Again, anyone with information is advised to contact EKU police at 859-622-1111.
