In its weekly report, Kentucky counted 5,530 new coronavirus cases bringing the state total to 1,312,407.
1,420 of the new cases were in people age 18 and younger.
236 new deaths were reported, bringing that total to 14,895.
263 Kentuckians were hospitalized with COVID as of Monday afternoon. 50 of those were in the ICU and 25 were on a ventilator.
The positivity rate is at 2.29%.
