Senator Phillip Wheeler, of Pikeville will chair the Economic Development, Tourism, and Labor Committee.

Senator Steve West of Paris will chair the Education committee.

The Judiciary committee will be chaired by Senator Brandon J. Storm, of London, and Vice Chaired Senator Phillip Wheeler of Pikeville.

Senator Brandon Smith of Hazard will chair the Natural Resources and Energy committee.

And Senator Max Wise, of Campbellsville, was elected as the next majority floor leader and Senator Robert Stivers, of Manchester, was re-elected as Senate President.
